Adventure is good, home is best

Happy Chickens

It all started with happy chickens. It says so right on the carton. “Locally grown from happy chickens at the Dodge Nature Center!” Happy chickens made happy eggs. I mixed them with flour and sugar (Lots of sugar. Some cream cheese. A little lemon. Butter. More sugar.) and with assistance from Scout, Easter happiness was made.

One cannot live on organic eggs alone! One must have a little edible art, courtesy of friend Leo and DecoPak.

Happy Easter, everyone!

Anne, your photos are incredible and your cake looks yummy. So nice of Scout to assist you in the kitchen. I am sure your cake made Easter extra special.
