About Me
I’m a corporate refugee turned blogger who loves dogs, horses, travel and husband, not necessarily in that order.
I started this blog when I traveled to Churchill, Manitoba in late 2010. I wanted to share photos with my mom and assure her that I would not be eaten by a polar bear. Turns out she was not worried about me being eaten by a polar bear. I blogged anyway.
Seeing polar bears in the wild was a big adventure, but there is adventure in everyday life, too, so I blog on. And on and on. I hope you’ll come along and see where my ruby shoes take me.

This blog is wonderful and so aptly describes our trip and the people on it. The photos are great and I also love the ‘stand-up’ bear. Thanks for sharing with me
